Wine Spectator 2020 Top 100 #9
Again with generosity and sophistication. A deep potpourri of candied cherry, Asian spices, and incense lift gracefully from the glass. Silky, with notions of blue and red fruits, fresh fennel, and juicy cranberry, the wine is supported with a depth of composed tannins core, indicating a nearly timeless potential for cellaring.
Beaux Frères’ iconic vineyard is located on an 88-acre farm atop Ribbon Ridge, the most prestigious terroir in Willamette Valley. Tall and stately Douglas fir trees cover nearly 50 acres of the farm, with homestead and winery buildings occupying another 8 acres.
