"100% Sangiovese Grosso clone from the southeast-facing Pian Bossolino. The Riserva is only produced in years when the harvest is considered to be an exceptional vintage. The wine ferments in Slavonian casks and then ages 12 months in new and used French oak and 12 months in Slavonian oak – 24 months in wood, 6 months in steel, and 30 months in bottle before release."
