Eagle Rare 17 BTAC 2022 Kentucky Straight Bourbon 101pf

Eagle Rare 17 year-old is one of the five bourbons included in the award-winning Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. This rare bourbon is released in small quantities once a year in the fall. An intriguing nose features cherry cough drop and horehound, with hints of mint, crushed herbs, and dried flowers. The palate crackles with candied peanuts, lush spices-pepper and allspice-and oozes with some molten licorice. The oak-driven finish shows exquisite maturity, while keeping the wood in check.  This whiskey was distilled in the spring of 2005, then aged in warehouses H, K, and L.
