Corazon de Agave Reposado tequila is a premium tequila that has been aged for an extended period in authentic Blanton's barrels, one of the most prestigious bourbon barrels in the world. The result is a smooth and rich taste that is enhanced by the complexity of the barrel. Each bottle is hand-selected and numbered to ensure the highest quality.

 

This unique aging process creates bold aromas and flavors of oak, smoke, and vanilla that you won't find elsewhere. oak barrels for 6 to 8 months resulting in a softness and depth previously found only in fine aged cognac and single malt scotch. This single barrel expression was aged in ex-Blanton's barrels.

 

INTRO: This is a Reposado tequila distilled from Blue Weber Agave and aged in Blanton's Bourbon Barrels. I've had several Corazon, but reviewed none, so this is long overdue.

 

NOSE: Sweet vanilla, honey, cream.  Full agave character, some pepper and carmel from the Blanton’s Barrel.

 

TASTE: Thick on the palate, sweet cream and agave with pepper. Really interesting.  ABV feels alright,  but not drinking hot at all, so thats AWESOME and screams another!!!

 

FINISH: Sweet and oaky, fairly many notes here.  A ton going on, and a hint of that carmel remains.
